HAVERHILL — Northern Essex Community College is expected to resume classes at its Haverhill and Lawrence campuses today after a bomb threat closed the school yesterday and last night.
NECC officials said they expected classes to begin meeting again after police investigated the threat, which was received at the Lawrence campus early yesterday afternoon.
Both campuses were closed as a precaution, college officials said.
Police said the threat was received at the ValleyWorks employment office on NECC’s Lawrence campus.
All workers and students were ordered to leave the college property and all classes were cancelled.
