LAWRENCE — Three tires were flattened on a car parked on Rowe Street and police said it was not the first time the car had been vandalized.
Maria Feliciano, owner of the Oldsmobile Alero, told Officer Jeffrey Hart three of the tires were punctured and flattened, and that last month someone had attempted to set the car on fire while it was parked in the same spot, across the street from her home in an unpaved parking spot.
Police said Hart also located a third vandalism report from February 2009 involving the same car.
Vandals do $1,250 damage to car parked near home
HAVERHILL — Vandals damaged a Honda Accord while it was parked at the owner's Oak Terrace home, police said.
Kelly Walsh told police she had stayed up until 3 a.m. watching a movie, and did not hear anything. But when she went out to her car at 8 a.m. she found damage to the hood, right front quarter panel, right front passenger door, front bumper and passenger side mirror.
A police report estimated the damage at $1,250.
