HUDSON — A Methuen man was arrested early yesterday morning and charged with theft by unauthorized taking, a misdemeanor.
David Farwell, 39, was stopped at 1 a.m. on Central Street after a caller told police he had been rummaging through a vehicle on Rangers Drive.
When the caller told Farwell they were calling police, he fled in a silver Honda Civic, police said.
Farwell was stopped shortly thereafter. Police said they believe he is “connected to” the offense.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in 9th Circuit Court in Nashua Sept. 19.
He was released on $750 personal recognizance.
