LAWRENCE - The Gallery at Lawrence Heritage State Park will host an exhibit of paintings by the urban folk artist Ralph Fasanella from Oct. 12 through Dec.16,
Paintings of Lawrence and the Bread and Roses Strike by Fasanella and working drawings of mill machinery in Lowell will be exhibited in Lawrence Heritage State Park’s Gallery, located at 1 Jackson St.
The opening reception, including jazz music, is on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 5-7 p.m.

Seminar on breast cancer is today
HAVERHILL - New Horizons in Women’s Health, a medical Meet the Expert seminar in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, will be held today from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the first floor auditorium at Merrimack Valley Hospital.
