ATKINSON — The Family Support Council of Community Crossroads recently sponsored a “sound healing” event with SoundScapers.
It was a very relaxing and therapeutic experience incorporating the human voice, guided imagery, the didgeridoo, trance Native American drumming, rattling, chanting, and crystal quartz and Tibetan sound bowls.
The SoundScapers included an informative history of “sound healing” prior to going into the therapy session.
Sarah Care of Hampstead donated its comfortable facility for this event. To learn more about sound therapy, check them out at www.facebook.com/soundscapers.drumming and/or search them out on YouTube.
