LAWRENCE — Juan Rangel, CEO of the United Neighborhood Organization, will speak Oct. 9 at 8:45 a.m. at Lawrence High School, 70-72 North Parish Road.
Rangel will give a presentation on why he believes that Hispanics have the potential to be the next successful immigrant group in America. In a recent article in the Wall Street Journal, Rangel states that “Hispanics must be challenged to take full advantage of American possibilities through civic participation and deep investments in family, neighborhoods, and education.”

MSL to hold ‘Talk the Vote’ event
ANDOVER — Dan Rea, host of WBZ Radio’s NightSide with Dan Rea, will preside over “Talk The Vote,” a live
broadcast at the Massachusetts School of Law (MSL), Oct. 17 from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Presented by WBZ 1030 Newsradio and the AARP, Rea will head a panel of political experts who will discuss, in front of a live studio audience, the most important issues facing the next president, including unemployment, mounting debt and America’s future.
The event is free and open to the public, including MSL students and faculty. The event will be held in the Old Courtroom on the 2nd Floor of MSL. The school is located at 500 Federal Street in Andover.
