LAWRENCE — Even though their backgrounds couldn't be more different, students from Lawrence High School and Phillips Academy found out they had more in common than they thought.
"We talked about the Super Bowl and learned that we all like to have fun," said Lydia Azaret, of North Andover, a senior at Phillips Academy.
LAWRENCE — Growing up, Cid Wilson was a stutterer and a lousy math student.
Today at 41, Wilson has overcome his speech impediment, has worked as a financial analyst on Wall Street for 18 years and recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of the tops in his field.
LAWRENCE — Mayor William Lantigua this week skipped the State of the City address that the city charter requires mayors to deliver annually at the City Council's first meeting in February.
It is the third time in his three years in office he missed the deadline.
