Police are looking for a man who walked into the Walgreens at 310 Main St., Haverhill, and grabbed cash from a store register as a clerk was opening it to make change for a customer.
They believe the same man robbed the Lowell Avenue branch of the Sovereign Bank on Monday.
This video provided to The Eagle-Tribune by police shows the man caught on a store security camera. He walks into the Walgreens on Jan. 2 and stands near the cash register while the clerk waits on a customer. The robber then grabs cash from the register while it is open.
Anyone with information about the robberies or the suspect is asked to contact Det. Dana Burrill at the Haverhill Police Department at 978-373-1212. The robber is described as being 5 feet-9 inches to 5 feet-11 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds with a medium build. In both cases the robber wore a scarf over the lower part of his face.
