A Tale of Four Birds From Birth to Flight

NORTH ANDOVER —

Two American Robins nest in Eagle-Tribune photographer Mary Schwalm's backyard in North Andover. "I noticed the birds frequently going back and forth, and saw the nest on the back deck. I could see the nest from the kitchen and sunroom so I could monitor when they were coming and going," Schwalm said. "I used a Canon G7, stood on a two-step stool and put the camera over my head to photograph and videotape the activity in the nest."
