HAMPSTEAD - Town Hall will have power the next time a big storm hits, thanks to a $13,000 federal grant.
The town received a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to buy a generator to power Town Hall in case of emergencies. The grant will pay for half the $25,000 price tag for a new generator, with the town paying the balance of $12,000 out of the capital reserve fund.
