SALEM — Night work is planned at the new Exit 2 interchange on Interstate 93.
Weather permitting, work will take place today from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The southbound off-ramp will be realigned after painting has been done. The new off-ramp is north of the existing one.
Southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane during the work, according to the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
This work is part of the $41 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project in the vicinity of Exit 2. The general contractor is George R. Cairns & Sons Inc. of Windham.

PLAISTOW — The Lions Club will host a pancake breakfast Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Fish and Game Club on May Ray Avenue.
Enjoy a choice of pancakes, sausage and beverages.
Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children. proceeds will benefit the Lions Club’s Santa Fund.
Donate blood in Londonderry
LONDONDERRY — The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Londonderry Lions Hall, 256 Mammoth Road. All donors will receive a commemorative T-shirt.
This holiday season the Red Cross is asking people to give something that means something. Give a gift that can help save a life. Give a blood donation. For families dealing with a cancer diagnosis or other major illness, the holidays can be a difficult time.
Donors of all blood types — especially O negative, A negative and B negative — are urged to schedule an appointment to donate blood.
Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments can be made by calling 1-800-RED CROSS or visiting redcross.org prior to that date.
