Kimball Library marks end of summer program

---- — ATKINSON— All summer reading participants will get a chance to celebrate their success by participating in one of the final events of the summer tomorrow at Kimball Library at 6:30 p.m.

Music will be performed by The Squeezebox Stompers in the courtyard, and an ice cream sundae buffet will be available.

The Knights are cooking steak dinner

HAMPSTEAD — The Knights of Columbus, St. Maximilian Kolbe Council, will serve a Steak Barbecue Dinner Saturday at 5 p.m.

Dinner will be served in St. Anne Church Hall on Emerson Avenue.

The menu also includes vegetables, salad and dessert.

The requested donation is $7 for adults, $3 for children younger than 12.

Newton recreation has tickets to sell

NEWTON— Newton recreation still has tickets available for the Fisher Cats game Sunday. The premium seats are available at the discounted price of $11.

They also have discounted tickets for Water Country and Canobie Lake Park.

Church offers free pancake breakfast

SANDOWN — St. Matthews will host a free Pancake Breakfast Saturday from 7 to 10 a.m. at the church, 328 Main St.

SANDOWN — Sandown’s historic Meeting House will be open from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday.

There will be a nondenominational service Sunday at 11 a.m.

Immediately after, there will be a pot roast dinner at St. Matthews Church. Dinner is by reservation only; call 887-3453 or email abasset@gsinet.net.

Register soon for Sanborn Youth Soccer

KINGSTON — Register for Sanborn Youth Soccer, which starts Sept. 7 and runs for eight weeks.

Registration is $50 for U6-U12, $65 for U14-U16.

Registration ends Aug. 15.
