Church auction in Atkinson Sunday

ATKINSON — The Atkinson Congregational Church will hold its fifth annual auction to benefit the church’s general fund on Sunday. The theme of the auction is “Jukebox Jamboree.”

Auction items include a round of golf for two people at the Atkinson Country Club, tickets to a New Hampshire Fisher Cats game and much more.

Admission is free. Doors open at 1 p.m. for previewing and silent auction.

The live auction runs from 2 to 5 p.m. The church is located on 101 Main St.

Author to lecture in Windham

WINDHAM — Michael Shea will discuss his book, “In God We Trust: George Washington and the Spiritual Destiny of the United States of America,” at 7 p.m. Thursday at Windham Terrace, 3 Church Road.

The event is free and open to the public.
