SALEM — NH Casino Now will host a forum on casino gambling tonight at the Salem-Derry Elks Lodge.
The forum, set for 6 p.m., will include a panel of officials from Washington County in Pennsylvania, who will speak about their experience with the development of a gaming facility that would be similar to the casino proposed for Rockingham Park.
Candidates for the state Legislature and the public will be allowed to ask the panel questions.
NH Casino Now is a group of residents from the Greater Salem area who support expanded gambling and believe Rockingham is the best location for a casino, believing it will create thousands of jobs and stimulate the economy.
The Elks Lodge is on Shadow Lake Road.
