Salem board OKs office building

SALEM — The Planning Board has granted site plan approval for a four-story office building on Keewaydin Drive.

The board approved the project, proposed by Osomor LLC and Crosby Advisors LLC, at its meeting Tuesday night, town planning director Ross Moldoff said.

The 75,000-square-foot office building at 28 Keewaydin Drive will accommodate 220 workers.

Crosby, which moved to 11 Keewaydin Drive from Boston two years ago, manages holdings of Fidelity Investments owner Edward “Ned Johnson” and his family.

The Zoning Board granted a variance for the 61-foot-high building in February because commercial and industrial district regulations prohibit buildings more than 45 feet tall and three stories high.
