Windham arts festival offers full slate Saturday

---- — WINDHAM — The Windham School District Arts Festival is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Windham High School.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at windhamendowment.org or at the door.

There will be a jazz brunch and silent auction. Windham Actors Guild and high school singers and musicians will perform.

The event benefits the Windham Arts scholarships.

Salem church offers indoor yard sale

SALEM — Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church will host its annual indoor yard sale Saturday, May 18.

The early bird sale is from 8 to 9 a.m. and the general sale is from 9 a.m. to noon. There will be special discounts offered for all remaining items from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

The sale features merchandise from more than 50 families, including clothing, funiture, fishing gear, household items and a few air conditioners.

Proceeds benefit the church’s ministry. Triumphant Cross is at 171 Zion Hill Road.

Make some roomfor more perennials

EAST HAMPSTEAD — A plant sale will be held on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at East Hampstead Union Church, 225 East Main St., (Route 121A) just south of Route 111.

A selection of perennials will be offered.

Proceeds will benefit the Operating Fund of this historic church. Call 378-0683.

Senior fitness classes start in Pelham

PELHAM — Senior fitness classes start May 23 at the Senior Center, 8 Nashua Road.

The cost is $30 per senior. Classes are at 9 a.m. for six weeks.

Windham launches Adopt-A-Spot program for town

WINDHAM — The town’s Community Development Department is launching a program to remove litter and beautify places in town with flowers.

Those interested must sign up by June 1.
