last dance of school year for middle-schoolers

PLAISTOW — The Knights of Columbus will be holding the final Middle School Dance of the school year for children in sixth through eighth grades tomorrow.

The dance is held at St. Luke’s Church Hall (formerly Holy Angels) on Route 121 near the Haverhill/Atkinson line. The dance runs from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

Admission is $5 and there is also a concession stand. Children are expected to show up in proper attire (school type rules apply). If school is canceled at Timberlane, so is the dance and it won’t be rescheduled.

The dance is well chaperoned with 20-plus adults and there is also a policeman on duty inside the dance. Email Peter of the Knights at pmrpjs6@hotmail.com.

Fill your bookshelves, stomach and garden

SANDOWN — Plants, books and baked goods will all be available at great prices Saturday at the Friends of the Sandown Public Library annual sale.

Gardeners may choose from a wide selection of perennials, annuals and herbs from local gardens. A variety of hardcover and paperback books for both adults and children will be on hand in the book sale room. Enjoy the homemade baked items at very reasonable prices.

The library is at 305 Main St.

Open house set at renovated facility

PLAISTOW — Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics will host an open house and networking event on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.

The event will be held at Access Sports Medicine’s newly renovated facility at 13 Plaistow Road.

Guests of the open house will have the opportunity to meet the physicians and staff, and take tours.

Attendees will enjoy an assortment of food and beverages and have the opportunity to win door prizes and other giveaways. RSVP by emailing events@accesssportsmed.com.

Open house Sunday at St. Patrick’s School

PELHAM — St. Patrick’s School in Pelham will hold an open house from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday at 16 Main St.

People can tour the school and its new pre-kindergarten classroom.
