Two Danville selectman seats up for grabs

Giordano wants another term

---- — DANVILLE — Five candidates are seeking two three-year seats on the Board of Selectmen.

Six-year Selectman Christopher Giordano is looking to return to the board as is Joshua Horns. The election is March 11.

Giordano has also served 17 years on the Planning Board.

Horns was appointed last year to fill remainder of Russell Harding’s term. Harding resigned after he was convicted in June of assaulting a teenage boy.

The other candidates are former Selectman Joseph Luna, Kimberly Farah and George Manos.

Luna served on the board for four years until stepping down in 2010 for family reasons. He also spent five years on the Planning Board.

Manos has served one-year stints on the Planning Board and Budget Committee. Farah has not held elective office.
