Two run for Timberlane School Board seat

PLAISTOW — Two candidates are looking to represent Plaistow for a three-year term on the Timberlane School Board.

Incumbent Sue Sherman will be challenged by newcomer Tony Cantone. The election is March 11.

Sherman was appointed to the School Board in August to fill the seat of Elizabeth Kosta, who had resigned.

Sherman is a retired teacher who has served on multiple committees in town. Her husband, John, is a selectman.

Cantone is a political newcomer who is a business executive. He is also running for Budget Committee.
