DERRY — Renew, a free clothing ministry, is open Saturday, as it is the second Saturday of every month, from 8 to 11 a.m.
This is a ministry of Calvary Bible Church at 145 Hampstead Road. All clothes are clean and organized.
Enter at the Calvary Bible Church marquee sign. Renew will be on your right. This is open to all area families in need or on a budget, and Derry residence is not required.
Households are limited to 20 of the newest items, plus an unlimited number of any other items per visit (within reason for household size). There is a short sign-up at the giveaway.
Donations of winter clothing and outerwear in good condition are needed at this time, and can be placed in the donations bin by thedoor anytime. No donations of money are asked or accepted.

Fill up on ham and beans in Salem
SALEM — A ham-and-bean dinner will be served at First Congregational Church, 15 Lawrence Road, Saturday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Members of the youth group will serve.
The menu includes ham, two kinds of beans, coleslaw, potato salad, rolls and homemade pie for dessert.
The cost is $8 for adults, $3.50 for children 10 and younger.

Farmers Market shifts schedule
ATKINSON — The Atkinson Farmers Market switches to its winter and spring schedule to Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., starting this week.
The market features the regular favorites, and it will now include several new vendors and crafters indoors. It’s located at the Atkinson Community Center on 4 Main St.
During November and December markets, the Atkinson Women’s Civic Club will be selling its new cookbook, just in time for holiday meal planning and gift giving.
