Manos, 59, received 841 votes in Danville to 1,227 for Comerford, a Republican from Fremont.
Rockingham District 33 is made up of Danville, Fremont and Brentwood. Vote tallies for Fremont and Brentwood were not available last night.
Manos is a substitute teacher who has not served in elective office before.
If elected, Manos has said he would seek bipartisan agreement on proposals in the Legislature to help New Hampshire’s middle class. He also vowed to do what he could to help establish a public-private partnership that would assist the state’s college students get jobs after graduation.
Comerford, 26, was elected to the House in 2008. Both candidates ran unopposed in the primary Sept. 11.
