WINDHAM — A Lawrence man is being held on $50,000 cash bail after he was arrested Wednesday on drug charges by the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Drug Task Force.
Jonathan Delgado, 29, is facing additional charges after allegedly trying to flee from police and causing minor damage to two police cruisers belonging to the sheriff’s department and Windham police.
The sheriff’s Chief Deputy Al Brackett said Delgado’s arrest followed a month-long investigation by Windham police and the drug task force.
Delgado drove his car into the cruisers near the Route 111 and Range Road intersection about noon on Wednesday.
None of the officers were injured and there was no serious damage, Brackett said.
“We had him boxed in,” he said.
Delgado is charged with three counts of selling crack cocaine and four counts of selling heroin, Brackett said.
He also was charged with disobeying an officer, resisting arrest, reckless operation, criminal mischief and transporting a small amount of marijuana, Brackett said.
Bail was set during an arraignment yesterday at 10th Circuit Court in Brentwood.
The investigation is continuing.
