PLAISTOW — The Knights of Columbus will be holding the third Middle School Dance of the school year for children in sixth through eighth grades on Friday from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
The dance is held at St Luke’s Church Hall (formerly Holy Angels) on Route 121 near the Haverhill/Atkinson line. The admission cost is $5 and there is also a concession stand.
Students are expected to show up in proper attire (school type rules apply). The dance is well chaperoned with 20-plus adults and there is also a policeman on duty inside the dance.

Tax and zoning maps, stormwater information and flood plain materials are among items that can be viewed during business hours, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Sandown Food Pantry needs donations
SANDOWN — Food donations are needed for Christmas meals. The Sandown Food Pantry needs: 14- to 18-pound frozen turkeys, 5-pound bags of potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce and brownie mix.
Nonperishable items can be dropped off at Town Hall by Friday.
Anyone donating a turkey or potatoes is asked to call Arlene Bassett at 887-3453 or Louise Chartier at 887-8458.
Frozen turkeys can be dropped off at Town Hall Saturday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
It’s magic in Plaistow Monday
PLAISTOW — Plaistow Recreation and Plaistow Public Library will sponsor the Norman Ng Magic Show Monday at 1 p.m.
He has been performing his magic around the country for more than 20 years.
