Word got out quickly and other members and patrons pitched in with items such as tickets to a Bruins games, Dinner at Preludes, and diamond earrings. One guest who found out about the effort went directly to the store and purchased a 50” flat screen TV.

Raffle tickets are available for $50 each and the drawing will be held on Jan. 4, in the Tavern. For those who may not have $50 at this time of year, “Atkinson Strong” bumper stickers are available for a $5 donation. Tickets and bumper stickers may be purchased in the Tavern at the Atkinson Country Club, 85 Country Club Drive, Atkinson, N.H.
