WINDHAM — A 12-year-old Windham Middle School student was arrested last week and charged with criminal threatening with a deadly weapon.
Windham police Capt. Mike Caron said he would not release additional details because the case involves a juvenile.
The arrest was listed in an entry Nov. 5 on the department’s police log.
“Appropriate discipline was administered and taken care of at the middle school,” Superintendent Winfried Feneberg said.
The arrest stemmed from an incident at a Windham High football game, Feneberg said.
“There was no melee,” he said. “Two students were involved, I believe.”
The weapon was a knife.
“My understanding is that it was a pocket knife,” the superintendent said.
No one was injured, Feneberg said. Windham hosted Sanborn for a football game on Friday, Nov. 1.
