SALEM — The paving continues along Interstate 93.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announced night paving work is scheduled to begin Tuesday and continue through Friday on I-93 southbound in Salem between mile marker 0.2 and mile marker 2.7.
This section of I-93 extends from approximately one-quarter mile north of the Massachusetts state line through the Exit 1 interchange and ends approximately 1,000 feet south of the Exit 2 on-ramp.
To lessen the impact on travelers, the paving work will take place between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Motorists traveling through the work zone will be restricted to one lane while the paving takes place. This work is weather dependent.
Uniformed officers and traffic control devices will be used to assist motorists through the work zone. Minor traffic delays can be anticipated.
