HUDSON — Two Sandown residents received only minor injuries after their vehicle rolled over on Route 111 in Hudson yesterday, police said.
At about noon, police responded to a reported rollover with people trapped on Route 111, just east of Kimball Hill Road.
Cindy Newell, 53, and Stephen Woodhouse, 48, both of Sandown, were extricated from the 2002 Chevy Avalanche. Newell had minor injuries and was taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center to be evaluated, police said.
Woodhouse was not injured, according to police.
The SUV was traveling west on Route 111 when the driver braked and lost control of the vehicle. The Avalanche ended up on the driver’s side, against a rock wall, police said.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Hudson Police Crash Investigation Team.
Traffic was affected for about an hour while the patients were treated and the vehicle was removed. There are no charges pending at this time, police said.
