The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces plans to close the northbound and southbound Open Road Toll lanes at both the Hooksett Toll Plaza on Interstate 93 and the Hampton Toll Plaza on Interstate 95 for night maintenance work.
The Hooksett ORT closure is scheduled from 9 p.m. today until 5:30 a.m. tomorrow. The Hampton ORT closure is scheduled tomorrow from 9 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Thursday.
These ORT closures are necessary in order to perform routine maintenance on the overhead equipment. All motorists will be guided via signs and traffic cones to the non-ORT portions of the Toll Plazas where they will proceed through either dedicated E-ZPass lanes or cash lanes.
Library Friends change pass policy
KINGSTON — The Friends of the Kingston Community Library have updated their policy on passes for museums and accredited zoos.
In place of the passes, they are now reimbursing up to 50 percent of the ticket price and up to $20 per family group visit. Forms are now available at the desk for patrons to complete and submit along with a viable receipt of payment.
Amusement and theme parks are not covered; however, the new policy dramatically increases the number of places a family may visit and receive a reimbursement.
