DERRY — A man faces seven felony charges, all sexually related, following a six-month investigation by local police.
Raymond J. Black, 60, of 110 Chases Grove Road turned himself in on a warrant Thursday morning, according to police Capt. Vernon Thomas.
Black alleged paid two 13-year-old girls to “perform sexual acts with him,” Thomas said.
The alleged assaults took place last summer and fall, police said.
Black is charged with one count of attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault, a Class B felony; one count of aggravated felonious sexual assault , a Class A felony; one count of felonious sexual assault, a Class B felony; four counts of prostitution, Class B felonies; and a single count of indecent exposure, a Class A misdemeanor.
Police received reports in October that Black was allowing underage youth to use drugs and alcohol in his home, police said. Further allegations included Black soliciting sex from underage girls for money, according to Thomas.
Detectives identified two girls, 13, they believed to have been sexually assaulted by Black. Both live in the area and are middle-school students, Thomas said.
Black was arraigned Thursday in 10th Circuit Court in Derry and is being held in the county jail on $25,000 cash bail. He is scheduled to return to court Tuesday for a probable cause hearing.
