For those who miss Strut for the Cure, a week of cancer awareness through Play for the Cure week will follow.
Running from April 21 to 26, Play for the Cure see some 230 Timberlane athletes donning pink before and during games, Guanci said.
“During the school day, the kids will come in and have their pink socks and pink shirts, wearing them during warm-ups and then change over to their uniforms,” she said.
Doors for Strut for the Cure open at 6:15 p.m.; the fashion show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for adults. The event runs until about 10 p.m.
