Salem club hosts Open Mic Night

SALEM — Do you sing? Are you in a band? Do you write your own poetry? Whatever your talent, head to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem Friday, March 8, and show it off.

The club will host its first-ever Open Mic Night, hosted by Mr. Moeschen.

The event will be held in the second-floor Eclipse Teen Center. It is open to anyone in seventh grade and older.

The admission fee is $5 for nonperformers, but anyone can get in free if they like the Boys & Girls Club on Facebook.

All performances must be “school appropriate.” Interested performers will receive general guidelines for their act.

Contact Mike Stevens at 898-7709, Ext. 33, to reserve a spot, provide information about your talent and receive additional information about the event.

The Eclipse Teen Center has recently introduced some new teen programs including Career Launch, GameTech, Smart Girls and Clay Tech, to name a few. Check out the website at salembgc.org.
