DERRY — Writer and Lecturer Edie Clark will present “Baked Beans and Fried Clams” at Derry Public Library at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Sponsored by the New Hampshire Humanities Council, this program is free to the public.
This talk offers a celebration of these regional favorites, along with an examination of how contemporary life has distanced us from these classics.

Woman’s Club scholarships available
WINDHAM — The Windham Woman’s Club has announced two scholarships are available through the General Federation of Women’s Clubs in New Hampshire. They include the federation and Arnold scholarships.

Timberlane to host Health Fair
PLAISTOW — Timberlane Regional School District will hold its annual health and fitness fair Wednesday, March 13, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at Timberlane Regional High School.
There will informative booths on nutrition, concussion awareness, Lyme disease and much more. Parkland Medical Center will be at the fair with a da Vinci Surgical System for attendees of all ages to test drive.
The fair is free and open to the public.
