Riverside-Bradford Baseball signup
set for tomorrow
HAVERHILL — The Riverside-Bradford Baseball League will hold its first walk-in registration for the 2013 season tomorrow from 9 a.m. to noon in the auditorium at the public library, 99 Main St.

Women’s City Club to meet in Haverhill
HAVERHILL — The Women’s City Club of Haverhill will have its first meeting of the new year on Tuesday at the Advent Christian Church, 160 Carleton St.
Coffee hour begins at 1:30 p.m., followed by the business meeting at 2 p.m. The program will feature Lori Gordon and Rescue Dogs and begins at 2:15 p.m. Gordon, a doctor of Veterinary Medicine, is a member of the Mass. Task Force and National Seacoast Rescue and Response System. She works with FEMA following disasters where trained dogs help find injured people.
School to hold indoor yard sale
HAVERHILL — The eighth-grade class at Hunking Middle School will hold an indoor yard sale Jan. 12 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event is being held to raise money for student field trips. Many families will have tables featuring various household goods. There will also be live music, raffles and a bake sale.
