Hampstead driver ejected in crash

SALEM, N.H. — Police say Daniel Moore suffered serious injuries early yesterday after being ejected from his car in a roll-over crash on the lawn of a home at 230 N. Main St.

But police said the 40-year-old Hampstead man was expected survive as he underwent treatment at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston last night. The hospital would not release any information about Moore’s condition.

“The cause of the accident is still under investigation by our Traffic Accident Reconstruction team,” Lt. Steve J. Malisos said last night in a brief statement about the crash.

Police received a call at 2:36 a.m. from a resident at 230 N. Main St., reporting a rollover on the lawn of their home with the driver lying outside the car.

Salem Fire transported Moore to Lawrence General Hospital. From there, he was flown to Beth Israel Hospital. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Police released no other details about the accident.
