'Beer & Bikes' is warmup for benefit bike trek

---- — MANCHESTER — On May 5, the American Lung Association of the Northeast celebrates the fourth annual Cycle the Seacoast along the Portsmouth coast.

Cyclists can choose from three different route options: 25, 50 or 100 miles. To prepare for the ride, Milly’s Tavern of Manchester is hosting the first “Beer & Bikes” event of the New Year.

Join the American Lung Association of the Northeast on Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Milly’s Tavern, 500 Commercial St., for food, beer, trivia, prizes and fun.

Meet new people while American Lung Association staff members answer questions about the Cycle the Seacoast event scheduled for May 5.

Cycle the Seacoast is perfect for cyclists of all experience levels. It is a one-day ride offering a choice of 25-, 50- and 100-mile routes through the beautiful seacoast of New Hampshire. Proceeds from the bike trek benefit lung disease research, advocacy and programs, as well as the Fight for Air.

The evening provides a perfect opportunity for those who have not yet registered for the Trek.
