---- — A member of U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen’s staff will hold office hours today from 11 a.m. to noon in Salem at the Ingram Senior Center at 1 Sally Sweet Way and from 1 to 2 p.m. in Windham at 3 North Lowell St.
The staff member will be available to speak one-on-one with area residents who are seeking help with federal agencies on issues such as veterans’ benefits, federal taxes, housing, immigration and Social Security.

Snowshoe under the moonlight Saturday
HAMPSTEAD — The Hampstead Conservation Commission is planning two Moonlight Snowshoeing trips this winter. If there is no snow, we will walk as long as there is moonlight.
On Saturday, starting at 7 p.m., Joe Milardo will lead a trip from the Golden Meadow trailhead. The walk will be about 90 minutes.
On Saturday, Feb. 2, starting at 7 p.m., David Treat will lead a trip from the West Road parking lot. The walk will be about 90 minutes. Cross-country skiers are welcome to join.

NEWTON — The Newton Baseball Softball Association is gearing up for player registration and a pancake breakfast Saturday, Feb. 2, from 9 a.m. to noon At Sanborn Regional High School. The association is not affiliated with the school district.
Register, get important league information, and enjoy a free pancake breakfast. Additional registrations (without the free breakfast) will be at Town Hall on Feb. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Feb. 16, from 9 a.m. to noon.

School seeks game sponsors
NEWTON — The Memorial Elementary PTO is seeking local businesses interested in helping sponsor the Harlem Wizards’ appearance March 5.
It will be the Wizards against Sanborn staff members. Game time is 6:30 p.m. in the Sanborn Regional High School gym.
All proceeds from the game go directly to providing Memorial School students with enrichment programs and funds for field trip assistance.
