SALEM — Salem Family Resources is seeking nominations for its fourth annual Children’s Champion Award.
Children’s Champions are recognized for their significant work toward bettering the lives of children in greater Salem in the areas of early learning, family wellness and early development.
Anyone living or working in the greater Salem area may be nominated. The award will be presented at Salem Family Resources’ annual Family Fashion Show and Auction fundraiser Sunday, April 21, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Searles Castle in Windham.
Previous Children’s Champion Award winners were Salem residents Sheila Murray, Nancy D’Agostino, Richard O’Shaughnessy and Don Bohnwagner.

Salem High thespians perform Feb. 15-17
SALEM — Salem High School students will perform the musical “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” on Feb. 15 to 17.
The shows Feb. 15 and 16 begin at 7 p.m. in the school’s auditorium. The Feb. 17 show starts at 2 p.m.
Tickets will be sold at the door: $7 for the general public and $5 for students and staff with identification.

Festival of Bands comes to Timberlane
PLAISTOW — A “win-win opportunity” is how Tony Dibartolomeo, Timberlane’s music director and conductor of the Timberlane Community Band, characterized the upcoming New Hampshire Festival of Bands.
This musical collaboration, scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 17, will take place at the Timberlane Performing Arts Center on Greenough Road.
It will feature the Rockingham Wind Symphony and performances by the Timberlane, Chelmsford and Windham Community Bands.
The Timberlane Community Band will be performing at 1 p.m., Chelmsford at 2 p.m., Windham at 3 p.m. and the Rockingham Wind Symphony at 4 p.m.
Tickets are $10, with a reduced rate of $5 for seniors and students. Advanced tickets may be purchased by calling the PAC ticket office at 357-5257, online at timberlanepac.org or may be purchased at the door.
