Get pets vaccinated Saturday in Salem

---- — SALEM — Salem Animal Rescue League will hold a rabies and microchip clinic Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

The clinic is open to the general public.

The cost is $12 for a one-year rabies shot, $15 for a three-year vaccine.

Microchips are $20. All dogs must be on leashes and cats must be in carriers.

The shelter is at 4 SARL Drive, behind Baron’s TV and Buchika’s ski shop.

Seniors, this classis for you

PELHAM – A six-week senior fitness class begins March 28 at the Pelham Senior Center.

The cost is $30 per senior. The class runs from 9 to 10 a.m.

Open house offered at Salem college

SALEM — The American College of History and Legal Studies will host an open house for prospective students and the public Wednesday, March 27.

The open house begins at 7 p.m. and will be followed by a reception about 8:20 p.m. The college is at 1 Stiles Road.

The schedule includes an overview of the history and writing courses, an overview of the Early Admission to Law School program, an opportunity to observe an American History II class, and a question-and-answer session with professors and students.

The American College of History and Legal Studies is a “completion” college, offering the junior and senior years of undergraduate study toward a bachelor’s degree in history and legal studies. Only the discussion method of teaching is used in classes and no lectures.
