---- — WINDHAM — Do you ever wish that you could make something in your life easier or solve a problem that you face on a regular basis?
That was the question posed to Mrs. O’Keefe’s, Mr. Miloro’s and Ms. Ramsey’s fifth-grade students as they began work on their Invention Convention projects.
Students from all three classes worked through the invention process over a six-week period.
Students were able to let their innovation shine at the first annual Invention Convention on Feb. 22.
The inventions that lined the Center School Cafeteria included an innovative duct tape storage and work station, a working model of a hydro-powered car, a ringing remote control and dozens of other impressive works.
The students presented their ideas and projects to other classes, parents and community members.
One student said of the process and the convention, “I wish this would never end.”
