Medicare workshop offered in Salem

SALEM — ServiceLink Resource Center of Rockingham County will offer its “New to Medicare” workshop April 8.

The workshop will be from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Kelley Library, 234 Main St.

The workshop includes a basic review of Medicare Part A and Part B, Medicare prescription drug plans supplemental plans, Medicare Advantage, and preventing Medicare fraud and abuse.

Easter egg hunt slated in Atkinson

ATKINSON — The Recreation Department will host an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 30 at Woodlock Park at 11 a.m.

The event is for Atkinson children up to 10 years old.

Bring a basket or bag to hold the eggs and wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

Education standards discussed at Timberlane

PLAISTOW — Timberlane Regional High School and the Parent Teacher Student Association are sponsoring “Coffee with the Principal” on April 2 at 7 p.m.

The event will be held in the library following the PTSA meeting at 6:30 pm.

A presentation on the Common Core educational standards will be given by Scott Strainge, director of secondary education, and Kelli Killen, directory of elementary education.

Energy fair in Atkinson

ATKINSON — The town’s Energy Commission will hosting the Greater Atkinson Energy Fair on Saturday, April 6.

The fair is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Atkinson Community Center, 4 Main St.

More than 20 organizations and vendors will provide information, products and advice on heating, cooling, lighting, fuel choice, solar energy, renewable energy, innovative equipment, and various aspects of energy efficiency for a home or small business.

‘Godspell’ performed at Windham High

WINDHAM — The Windham Actors Guild brings “Godspell” to the Windham High School stage April 5, 6 and 7.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for children and seniors.
