College juniors, seniors can earn scholarship

The Eagle-Tribune

---- — The NHHEAF Network Organizations has released the College Equals Opportunity Scholarship application for 2013. Since its inception in 2005, the CEO Scholarship program has recognized 43 New Hampshire college student leaders, totaling $215,000 in scholarship dollars.

The scholarship program, launched by the NHHEAF Network Organizations to recognize the importance and value mentors have in shaping the aspirations of students, relies on the support from successful business leaders throughout the state. The leaders offer advice to students about the vital role higher education played in their success and the importance of pursuing dreams and serving the community. Each year, the program picks outstanding college juniors and seniors who have demonstrated these qualities throughout their educational career to receive a $5,000 scholarship.

Eligible college students must be New Hampshire residents entering their junior or senior year (in-state or out of state) in the fall of 2013. Scholarships will be awarded to deserving students who demonstrate leadership abilities, an understanding of the value of higher education and financial need. Interested students can visit nhceo.biz to complete the scholarship application and learn more. For questions, contact info@nhceo.biz or call (800) 525-2577, Ext. 442.
