Coyle takes on Davidson for open District 3 job

DERRY — Former Derry Town Councilor Kevin Coyle hopes to win the District 3 Rockingham County commissioner’s post next week.

Coyle goes up against Democrat Bob Davidson of Nottingham.

District 3 towns include Derry, Londonderry, Auburn, Candia, Deerfield, Nottingham, Northwood, Chester and Windham.

In the September GOP primary, Coyle beat out fellow Derry candidate Phyllis Katsakiores and longtime incumbent commissioner C. Donald Stritch to move on to the general election against Davidson.

Davidson is a former state representative and ran for county commissioner several years ago, but lost to Stritch.

Why do you want to be elected? I want to bring a fair deal for our county workers and taxpayers, to protect taxpayers and make sure tax rate is relatively low.
