Pelham police break up underage party

PELHAM — Police took eight teenagers into custody early last Saturday in an alcohol-related investigation.

But police Lt. Gary Fisher said they were released to their parents or guardians and none face charges. Police found the teenagers in possession of alcohol when they responded after receiving a 911 hang-up call, Fisher said.

The teenagers included seven from Pelham: Justin Riel, 18; Matthew Maguire, 17; Nicholas Fisette, 18, Jeremy Wallace, 19; Thomas Anderson, 18; Kevin Deschenes, 18; and Christopher Medeiros, 17.

One was from Lowell: Daniel Roberts, 18.

Fisher said the incident happened at the home of one of the teenagers, who had unsuccessfully tried to get the others to leave.

“We got them to leave,” Fisher said.
