SALEM — The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem will host its 26th Annual Charity Auction on Saturday, March 23, at the club.
This year’s theme is “La Dolce Vita,” which means the sweet life. The celebration begins with a silent auction at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:15 p.m., prepared by the Tuscan Kitchen.
A live auction kicks off at 8 p.m. This year’s event features an array of live auction items including VIP experiences, Disney passes, Monster seats for Red Sox games, vacations, exclusive dining packages and sports memorabilia.
This year there will be a celebrity auctioneer, Mike Morin of WZID. Morin has co-hosted New Hampshire in the Morning on WZID for 11 of his 42 years as a radio personality.
Since 1967, the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem has provided a safe, nurturing environment for young people from Salem and its surrounding communities. The club works to give kids a safe place to go every day after school with professional staff members who care about them and provide programs that are fun and build good character.
“We are very thankful for our Platinum Sponsor for the auction, Citizens Bank, and our Gold Sponsor, Salem Cooperative Bank,” said Denise Dolloff, director of development for the club. “They provide significant support for the programs that we offer.”
Reservations for the auction are now being accepted. Tickets are $75 per person. Tickets may be purchased at salembgc.org/portal/upcoming-events?EV=54 or by calling Dolloff at 898-7709, Ext. 16.
