Kids, get geared up for school at mall event

SALEM — The Mall at Rockingham Park, in collaboration with Teen Vogue, hosts the second Annual “Back-To-School Saturday” Aug. 17 from 3 to 5 p.m.

The event, Back At It will include a fashion show, an entertaining dorm room experience with seating and gaming and prize giveaways. Attendees who arrive early will receive a swag bag.

Teens will have the opportunity to win prizes with a live text-to-win game.

The event will take place in Lord & Taylor Court, Level 1.

Training Effects hosts benefit event

LONDONDERRY — Training Effects at 3 Mohawk Drive will host a benefit to support the Salem Animal Rescue League and Live and Let Live Farm on Sunday, Aug. 18, from 1 to 4 p.m.

The event will feature a live performance by Lisa Guyer, lead singer of the Lisa Guyer Band. Food will be available from the Woof It Down Grill.

SARL will have adoptable dogs at the event from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Boot Camp demonstrations will run from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Guyre will perform from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

Suggested donations are $10 per person with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the charities.

Soccer starts soon in Pelham

PELHAM — Youth soccer for boys and girls ages 5 to 15 starts in September.

The cost is $55 per child with a discount for other children from the same family. Register online at webtrac.pelhamweb.com by Aug. 30.
