The child was transferred to Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth, where he has been in stable condition and showing improvement, Reams said.
Reams said it’s not a question of if the couple will be captured, but when and where.
“We are getting a lot of help from the public already,” he said. “I suspect we will have them soon.”
The couple was supposed to surrender Monday, but did not, according to Plaistow police Lt. William Baldwin.
