Holiday breakfast set in Salem Dec. 15

SALEM — Join the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem for its ninth Annual Holiday Breakfast on Saturday, Dec. 15, from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Club’s Eclipse Teen Center.

This fun-filled family event will include a fabulous breakfast, arts and crafts, games, raffles and a visit from Santa Claus.

This year’s breakfast is sponsored by Salem Centre for Orthodontix of Salem.

People do not have to be members to attend the breakfast, butare asked to pre-register by calling the club at 898-7709, Ext. 10. Tickets are $5 per person for those age 6 and older, free for children 5 and younger. Tickets will be available on Dec. 6.

For more than 45 years, the Boys & Girls Club has been providing a safe place for the youth of Greater Salem with affordable programs for preschoolers to teenagers.

Their programs focus on character and citizenship, healthy lifestyles and academic success. They offer swimming lessons, sports camps, cooking lessons, homework help, sports leagues and art programs. Children have the opportunity to join community service groups and clubs such as the Keystone Club, Torch Club and the Ski & Ride Clubs.

Club membership fee is $30 a year (financial aid is available).
