Clothing given away this Saturday

DERRY — Renew, a clothing ministry of Calvary Bible Church at 145 Hampstead Road, is open Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m.

Anyone can visit and receive free clothing. All clothes are clean and organized.

Enter at the Calvary Bible Church marquee sign. Renew will be on your right. This is open to all area families in need or on a budget, and Derry residency is not required.

There is a short sign-up at the giveaway. No donations of money are asked or accepted in return for clothing.

Be sure to arrive no later than 10:30 a.m. to give yourself some time to shop and check out before they close the doors at 11 a.m.

Farmers market is open this Saturday

ATKINSON — The Atkinson Indoor Farmers Market is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Atkinson Community Center, 4 Main St.

There will be many gifts, decorations, crafts, prepared food items and many New Hampshire products available.

Don Campbell Band in Hampstead

HAMPSTEAD — The Meetinghouse Park Summer Concert Series announces its first winter concert Thursday, Dec. 13, at 6 p.m. at Hampstead Middle School.

The Don Campbell Band – a summertime favorite – will present a blend of holiday and country crossover music.

The five-piece band is based in New England and performs more than 200 concerts a year between Maine and Nashville. The performance is sponsored by the Hampstead, N.H. Cable TV Advisory Committee.

The suggested cost of admission for the free concert is a food item for the St. Anne’s Food Pantry or an item for the Military Support Club at Hampstead Middle School, to be sent to the troops. Suggestions include puzzle books, M&Ms, hard candy and phone cards.
