Athletic trainers honored by Northeast Rehab

---- — SALEM — At Northeast Rehab, this year’s theme of “Every Body Needs an Athletic Trainer” shines a spotlight on the dedicated individuals who oversee sporting events, help prevent injuries and deal with emergencies when necessary.

Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital Network Sports Medicine Division would like to highlight two of their own, Desiree Jubinville ATC and Christine Lucius ATC.

Jubinville came to Northeast Rehab in 2009 and has worked diligently to emphasize her value to the organization. She currently is the head athletic trainer at Andover High School and has recently become a CPR instructor. Her enthusiasm, confidence and commitment of high quality service to her athletes are without comparison.

Lucius’s employment with Northeast Rehab began in 2006. Since then she has and continues to cover Timberlane Regional High School athletes.

She approaches her work with a high degree of professionalism and discipline. She has proven to have a wonderful rapport with athletes, coaches and administration alike.

Jubinville and Lucius are this year’s Northeast Rehabilitation spotlighted athletic trainers. Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital Network Sports Division provides Athletic Training Services to seven local schools in Southern New Hampshire and the Merrimack Valley area.
