Two seek Sanborn School Board seat

---- — KINGSTON — Two political newcomers are looking to join the Sanborn Regional School Board.

Jason Faria and Jon LeBlanc are competing in the election Tuesday for a three-year seat representing Kingston. The winner would replace incumbent Cheryl Gannon, who did not seek re-election.

There is also another race for a seat on the seven-member board. Incumbent James Doggett is running against Renee King for a three-seat representing Kingston.

What is the most important issue facing the board? Balancing the education improvements our community demands against the low-tax impact our community demands while state and federal support dries up.
